Engenius is an initiative of the Engineering Council of South Africa (established by the Engineering Profession Act, 46 of 2000) and its 39 recognised voluntary associations.
Engenius’ aim is to coordinate and facilitate collaboration and support amongst organisations involved in the advancement of the engineering profession, in order to ensure that sufficient numbers of suitably educated learners enter engineering studies.
Stakeholders include: Voluntary Associations, Statutory Bodies, Government Departments, SETAs, Higher Education Institutions, Schools, FET Colleges, Public and Private Enterprises.
An Engenius Stakeholder Meeting will be held on the 18 August 2010 at ECSA’s offices in Bruma, Johannesburg.
